It's been over a year since I last wrote a post on this blog. I'm going to blame it entirely on my ability to become overly focused on whatever is important to me at the time. In February 2007, I and three other Community Server technical evangelists started a company named Four Roads. We came together because we had a common vision of building an e-commerce module for Community Server.
In the beginning, I was the main person to set up the company, its structure, and finances, as well as do quite a lot of project management, software development, sales, and account management. Now I'm settling into the CEO role, which is really new for me. I'm a technical person growing into a business person.
Anyway, my life has been out of whack for the past 18 months what with getting the company started and still trying to give enough time to family.
Things are to the point where I can start sharing a little bit of my life with everyone else again.
